A staggering 94% of the 24,500 travellers surveyed by Lonely Planet last year say travelling in a low impact way is the way they want to go and a raft of Green initiatives will make it easier to tread lightly this year.  SMH January 2008

The Bed & Breakfast Association of NSW and ACT has compiled a document amalgamating the Resources available to members and setting out what your Business can do and how to get started in going green.

The "Green Resources Document", available in our members only area (requires login), brings together some definitions of Global warming and its consequences, setting out some of the Energy, Water, Land/Garden, Packaging and Paper and Cleaning products available.

The Association Publication "Operating a Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Business" includes a checklist for improving our environment ..... and saving money. There are a number of links to help you assess what is available and whether or not it will suit your business. (View Going Green Checklist article.)
