Media Release: Extract - Letter to the Editor 2 February 2010

Today the Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Association of NSW & ACT launched the new edition of their Accommodation Guide, fondly known as "The Egg Book".

When researchers are looking to choose or recommend this type of accommodation we would like to invite them to choose from our extensive list of members.  By staying with one of our members you are ensuring a quality establishment, that demonstrates a commitment to our industry by following a Code of Practice and Standards of Customer Care.  At all times striving to live up to our motto:

...a warm welcome  ...a special experience

It would also be of benefit to mention the Bed and Breakfast or Farmstay Association to your readers who can be confident in staying with any of our members - they will always meet with our high standards.

 For your information upon joining our Association members must:

  1. Supply a copy of their Business Registration, issued by the NSW Office of Fair Trading or Registrar-General's Office in ACT
  2. Supply a current Certificates of Currency for Public Liability Insurance (updated yearly)
  3. Have approval to run their business through their local Council
  4. Agree to abide by the Association's Code of Practice
