Hotel Motel & Accommodation Association (HMAA) has announced their inaugural National Awards for Excellence and National A.C.E.S. Awards and all accommodation industry business, including Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay operators are invited to participate.

The application process has been designed to be user friendly, and help is available.

The HMAA Accommodation Industry Awards for Excellence in 2009 will acknowledge Australia's finest properties, exceptional staff and outstanding businesses.

The A.C.E.S. Awards are all about focusing on and rewarding the core industry values of Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm and Service. In an industry so reliant on the dedication of it's staff, this is an opportunity to recognise and reward individuals whose commitment to excellence is vital to the success of the accommodation business.

The awards will be presented at a Gala Dinner on 23rd October 2009. Be part of the celebrations as outstanding businesses and staff are acknowledged.

Congratulations to those of our members who received an award:

Milton Country Cottages  - WINNER - 4 STAR Self Contained Accomodation Award

Ossian Hall - WINNER - 4 1/2 STAR Hosted Accommodation Award

Peter Wildblood, Benbellen Country Rereat and Cottages - WINNER - ACES (Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm, Service) Award
