"Oberne Meadows" is situated near Ladysmith 25 k's east of Wagga Wagga. We commenced operations in late 2007 after our son Luke purchased the dairy farm next door with two homes, we set the cottage up to accommodate guests in a self contained format. We have enjoyed meeting new people and the flow is increasing. We encourage our guests to view the milking at the dairy and the calf feeding. We have found most guests are from the city and looking for somewhere self contained with more room than a motel. We encourage our guests to visit wineries, markets, etc. in the local area.

Established Grevillea Lodge B&B in 2005, motto - "informal country hospitality in suburban Canberra". Before moving to Canberra 12 years ago, lived in Sydney, lower Blue Mountains and central west of NSW. As a board member aims to be an encouragement to other ACT operators and give them a louder voice in the Industry.

Retired from working in IT and Projects in Department of Defence. Running Pure Indulgence B&B with my wife Cecilia at Scotts Head on the Mid North Coast. Have been on the Board for about 7 years creating and issuing the Bedhead magazine for members, initially in hard copy and since 2004 as an electronic magazine in Adobe format issued via EMail. Also heavily involved in the rehash of the Operating Guidelines.

Board member for 8 years. Have operated one B&B for 11 years, and more recently two self-contained properties with my husband.

I'm the one that makes things happen quietly in the background. Computer user since the 1960s, before personal computers existed. Programmer and troubleshooter extraordinaire.

Having a corporate background has provided a solid business basis on which to build Sandholme Guesthouse, a revival of an Australian style of accommodation (bed and breakfast). Investment will achieve a 5 star rating, but this must be sustained with a very personal involvement in providing each guest a special experience which brings value to their busy lives. My wife and I have spent 5 years creating Sandholme and will spend the next 5 years pursuing our goal of excellance.

We decided to open a B&B in 2000 as a retirement hobby.

We have been delighted with our guests, many of whom return, bringing their freinds, over and over.

There is much to see and do in this beautiful rural area as we are surrounded by 4 interesting towns close by. Stud sheep, cattle, deer, seasonal activities like cherries, art galleries, vintage aircraft demonstrations and wineries fascinate our visitors, along with our renowned hospitality.

Run with Helen Kadina B&B In central west Parkes. Basically I am a full time farmer again.
