We sold the farm, retired from teaching and engaged an architect to design and construct a purpose built Bed and Breakfast establishment based on our travel experiences both in Australia and overseas. Using a combination of polished concrete, local timber, limestone from Western Australia and mini orb we provide our guests with a choice of fully self contained apartments or traditional B&B, both overlooking Palm Beach.

Having a corporate background has provided a solid business basis on which to build Sandholme Guesthouse, a revival of an Australian style of accommodation (bed and breakfast). Investment will achieve a 5 star rating, but this must be sustained with a very personal involvement in providing each guest a special experience which brings value to their busy lives. My wife and I have spent 5 years creating Sandholme and will spend the next 5 years pursuing our goal of excellance.

Meadowlake is a 5 Star lodge on the South Coast of NSW near the historic village of Milton. We are a member of Select Hotels International and have won the South Coast Tourism Awards for 5 Star Accommodation in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
