Description
delicious baked beans - so much more than we used to get from the tin ! Perfect for winter mornings.
Ingredients
- 200 g mushrooms sliced
- 1 onion diced
- 4 sli bacon diced
- 2 cn tomatoes diced
- 1 cn beans. cannellini
- 1 cn beans butter
- 300 ml red wine
- 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
- 2 chorizo sausage
- 1 bn fresh herbs - basil, rosemary, thyme
- 2 t brown sugar
- 1 cn beans.borlotti
Instructions
Cook mushrooms, bacon,chorizo and onions + herbs till brown - add tomatoes,worchestershire sauce, red wine and brown sugar and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain the canned beans and add - warm and serve on hot buttered toast.
Notes
Easy to make and great to have in the freezer just in case. To make even more
indulgent - crumble with marinated fetta before serving
