Description

A delicious, easy to make pudding especially nice in cooler weather. Our guests always enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 c butter or margarine
  • 1⁄2 c sugar, white
  • 1 eggs, medium (55g)
  • 1⁄2 c flour
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 8 green apples

Instructions

1. Cook apples until soft and put aside.
2. Cream butter and sugar
3. Add egg and beat well.
4. Add sifted flour and baking powder.
5. Pour over hot fruit.
6. Bake about 45 minutes at 190degrees C

Notes

a. I use a large egg and I use caster sugar.
b. Delicious served with whipped cream or icecream.
c. Canned, sliced peaches or apple and rhubarb are yummy alternatives.
d. Be ready for the compliments.
