Description

Pancakes with Banana and Apple Sauce

Ingredients

  • 125 g flour, all purpose
  • 10 g sugar, white
  • 7 g baking powder
  • 2 g salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 235 ml milk
  • 2 T apple sauce
  • 1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 bananas, ripe, mashed

Instructions

  • 1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, mix together egg, milk, vanilla extract, Apple Sauce and bananas.
  • 2. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture; batter will be slightly lumpy.
  • 3. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the pan, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides; serve hot with a small scoop of ice cream.

Notes

You could add some warm Apple Sauce with Cinnamon on top if you desire
