An interesting site, providing information on the activities of the UNWTO, whose main charter appears to be to promote responsible, sustainable and accessable tourism particularly in developing countries. It's membership consists of 160 countries and territories and 350 Affiliate members. Affiliate members include educational facilities, tourism organisations and the representatives from the public sector.
UNWTO produces a wide range of studies, reports and guidelines on just about any tourism related topic you can think of. They are available to purchase in print or e-format in a variety of languages (as you might expect).
The site also has a calender of tourism related events around the world.
